EAGLES BLUFF LAKE HOUSE
Recently completed, this stunning 3400-sf chalet rests atop a hill on 20 acres of private woodland on the south shores of Lake Content. Designed for multi-generational families and other large groups, you will find everything you need for a peaceful and enjoyable vacation or retreat up north. Our private dock gives you access to 1880 acres of the Big St Germain Lake chain for great fishing, boating and swimming. You will also have an acre of shallow sandy waterfront for family fun or just relaxing in the sun. Speaking of fun, when you ‘ve had enough swimming, watersports, and fishing (if at all possible!) you will find the Heart of Vilas County 52-mile paved bike trail at the end of our driveway. There’s hiking available on our property as well as the famous Awassa Nature Preserve and Hiking Trail which is only ¾ mile away. Also, for you snowmobile enthusiasts, the Bo-Boen trail is directly accessible from our driveway. At the end of the day, you can enjoy the private solace of a fire in the furnished firepit areas in the front yard or down by the shore. And with all this privacy, the St Germain community park and playground and grocery store are only a mile and a half away!
Our cabin is an efficiently designed three-level luxury home with a view of the lake that will take your breath away. The 3-level cabin boasts six bedrooms (5 with lake views!) and a loft sleeping area and 3 ½ baths. If you have a group of 13 or less, you can book the top two floors, giving you 3 private bedrooms plus the bunkbed loft and 2 ½ bathrooms. Either selection gives you a full-length front porch and lakeside deck with gas grill and plenty of seating to watch those beautiful morning sunrises. The Great Room has a gas fireplace and large sectional for enjoying the spectacular view through a wall of windows or watching TV on those rainy days inside. The kitchen has an incredible amount of cabinet and pantry space, dual-fuel range, microwave and French-door refrigerator. At the end of the granite countertop, you will find a 6-person bar with an icemaker. The custom-made dining table seats up to 12 and the tables on the deck seat another 12. If you book the 7-bedroom option, you will have access to the lower level. This level has a walkout with a patio, 3 bedrooms, and its own living space with sofa bed, table, mini kitchen with a bar for 6 and a second TV.
Summer bookings are Friday to Friday. Off season bookings have a 2-day minimum. Check in is 4:00 pm. Check out is by 10:00 am
